The exchange project with Italy was organized by Professor Vanessa Livramento and Professor Sandra Tarré, under the supervision of Director Edite Reina.
This project likely involved collaboration between educational institutions in Italy and the local school, facilitated by Professor Vanessa Livramento and Professor Sandra Tarré. Under the guidance of Director Edite Reina, they would have overseen the planning, coordination, and implementation of the exchange program. Mobility to
Conil de la Frontera, Spain
June, 2024.
In June 2024 a team of students and teachers from Prime School went on a Mobility Exchange trip to Conil de La Frontera, Spain, to visit the school IES Los Molinos. Prime School's group was welcomed by the Spanish school and had the opportunity to learn more about the city of Conil, its history, ans their research outcome.
Historical walks, educational treasure hunts, green economy and sustainability activities, museum and art school visit, study trip to Isla Magica and gamified activities were part of this exciting week, full of cultural exchange and learning opportunities.
Teacher Training
in Florence, Italy
July, 2024.
In July 2024 a group of teachers form Prime School travelled to Florence, Italy, to attend a STEAM course. It was an excellent opportunity for our teachers to develop computing thinking skills, improve their STEAM Knowledge as well as learn and practice new artificial intelligence resources to be used during lessons. The programme also included projects and activities, and a visit to the Galileo Museum.
The course helped our teachers further understand the several uses of STEAM in education, and how these different areas can be used to create unique, interactive and enriching learning experiences.
One of the most interesting activities was a hands-on training in SCRATCH, a visual programming language designed for education. According to the teachers who attended the course, the skills developed are invaluable for introducing programming to students in a meaningful and manageable format.
Teacher Training
in Dublin, Ireland
July 2024.
In July 2024 a group of of teachers attended Erasmus English Language Training course in Ireland. It was an opportunity to strengthen our teachers' English proficiency, empowering them to communicate confidently in various settings.
The course took place at the Center of English Studies (CES), a Teacherrise initiative, located in the city center of Dublin.
The programme also included a day trip to introduce the Irish culture and and provide the participants with an overview of Ireland and the variety of cultures within the European Union.
Teacher Training in
Padova, Italy
August, 2024.
In August 2024, three teachers from our school took part in an Erasmus+ training course in Padova, Italy, titled “UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals: from Lesson-Planning to Teaching.”
Falling under the category of Global Citizenship Education, the course offered participants an in-depth exploration of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and expert-led sessions, the teachers examined how to integrate the SDGs into the classroom to enhance students' research, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
The course equipped them with practical tools, teaching strategies, and best practices to include the sustainability theme in education. Our teachers returned inspired to support students for a more sustainable and responsible future.
This Erasmus+ experience marks another step forward in our school's
commitment to global awareness and active citizenship.
Mobility to
Nasaud, Romania
November, 2024.
In November 2024 a group of students and teachers from Prime School travelled to Nasaud, Romania, as part of the Mobility programme. The mobility journey was to visit Colegiul National George Cosbuc Nasaud. The programme included several cultural exchange activities, as well as gamification activities about the European Union, sustainability and more. The group was also received at the city hall, visited museums as well as different locations, such as the Turda Salt Mine, the Sengeorz-Bai Museum of Modern Art and the Liviu Rebreanu Memorial House. The group also had the opportunity to learn more about the Bistra-Nasaud Country Environmental Organization, as educational initiative dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices.

Alsfeld, Germany
January, 2025.
In January 2025 Prime School students and teachers embarked in an exchange journey to Alsfeld in Gremany. The objective of the trip was to visit Albert-Shweitzer-Schule. The Portuguese group had 6 students, 4 girls and 2 boys, aged between 15 and 17, acompanied by two teachers. It was a week full of activities, from project presentation, to visit to the town hall, sustainable cooking, museum visits and much more.
Mobility to
Oostende and Brussels, Belgium
January, 2025.
In January 2025, a delegation of 10 students ans teachers from Prime School embarked on an unforgettable journey to Belgium, visiting Oostende and Brussels as part of the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme. This is one of many international missions where we connect with schools across Europe, thanks for the Europe for You project, funded by Erasmus+.
The programme included visiting Petrus and Paulus West School in Alsfeld, with a range of activities. Prime School students created a game that was presented to the other students, the Portuguese group presented their project, gamification was also used to improve students' knowledge of the European Union. It was a week with tours to Oostende, Bruges, Gent and the European Parliament in Brussels.
